Using Jetpack to reply to comments on the mobile phone can be awkward, especially when praising other commenters. In the Jetpack backend, I can't see who it's directed at, and I end up being modest about it. Later, when I check on the computer, I'm glad I was modest because it wasn't even related to me, and I forced myself into the conversation.
Then I tried to install the WordPress mobile app, but it said there was insufficient space. I looked and saw I had 126/128 GB used, with only 2 GB left.
I uninstalled some rarely used apps and freed up about 5 GB. When I logged into the WordPress app, the comments section was still the same as Jetpack. I deleted Jetpack, but the WP Jetpack plugin wasn't removed; at least it would still give alerts.
I started backing up photos and videos, deleting around 2 GB, and got rid of the usual stuff.
WeChat was about 14.8 GB, so I first backed up all chats to the computer, then started using WeChat's built-in delete feature to remove chat records, focusing on group chats that take up more space. I deleted some advertising contacts, and in the end, it took up about 8.4 GB, which is manageable for now.
Douyin took up 2.9 GB for tasks, so I deleted it and reinstalled it. After reinstalling, it still took up 1.7 GB, which is quite large. I optimized the daily sign-in tasks and will delete it if it’s not useful.
Xiaohongshu took up 2.7 GB, and after deleting and reinstalling, it was still around 1.5 GB.
Alipay was about 2.5 GB (now 1.1 GB), WeChat Reading was 2.1 GB (now 1.07 GB), and Taote was around 1 GB. Pinduoduo, Meituan, Xianyu, and Bilibili had a fund with a 45% profit that I’ve held for a long time. The principal is just too small. I withdrew a total of over 90 yuan. Haha. I plan to gradually consolidate some fund apps to a maximum of about two platforms. There are too many now, taking up phone resources.
I also managed to upgrade the Pengpai system to the latest version. The compressed file was over 400 MB.
After a flurry of operations, I found I had gained 25 GB of space.
I will continue to persist. In a few years, when I buy a phone, it must have 256 GB.
