The electricity consumption is similar to what I calculated before with the power meter.
However, the one I used before was around 40L.
I estimate that the inner tank has a lot of scale.
The energy efficiency ratio is low.
It is also 1.4 yuan.
The water temperature is 60 degrees.
In reality, sometimes after washing, it’s about 30 degrees.
My personal cost is also around 0.7 yuan.
Shower time is very important; I take about 10 minutes.
But I shower every day.
Then continue to heat to 60 degrees.
The second person continues to wash.
The electricity bill for a month just for showering
is about 100 yuan.
About 3 yuan per day.

I saw this calculation for gas costs.
Because I haven't measured the actual costs myself.
A friend of mine has a higher gas bill.
He previously asked about the cost of steaming buns and showering.
Showering takes about 40 minutes for him,
and the cost is similar to steaming buns.
I jokingly said that people are probably steamed well.
The monthly use of natural gas is about 200 yuan.
In my house, cooking costs about 25 yuan for around 7 cubic meters.
His household cooking costs about 50 yuan, which is double mine.
Showering costs about 150 yuan.
But this is just my rough estimate.

2. Electricity fee: The power consumption of a gas water heater is about 40 watts, so it consumes about 0.04 kWh in 1 hour. If the price per kWh is 0.5 yuan, then the electricity cost for 1 hour is about 0.02 yuan.
3. Gas fee: The gas consumption is about 2.5 cubic meters per hour. Taking the first tier residential natural gas price in Beijing as an example, the price per cubic meter of natural gas is 2.61 yuan. Since the power consumption and shower time of water heaters vary by household, an accurate answer cannot be given. However, taking winter showers as an example, each shower of 15 minutes uses about 0.5 cubic meters of natural gas. The specific gas consumption also depends on the temperature of the tap water and the set hot water temperature. According to the conversion of heat units, 1 cubic meter of natural gas is equivalent to 11 kWh of electricity, considering the working efficiency of the water heater, it is equivalent to 9 kWh of electricity. That is to say, a gas cost of 2 yuan is equivalent to an electricity cost of 5.4 yuan. From this perspective, using a gas water heater for showering is relatively economical.
   In summary, the total cost for one hour is about 7.445 yuan, which can provide showers for 3 people, so the average cost per person for showering is about 2.48 yuan. Overall, the cost of showering with a gas water heater is still relatively low.

Is this calculation also feasible?

I previously calculated that boiling a kettle costs about 0.116 yuan.
2000 watts takes about seven minutes to boil water, 0.5 yuan per kWh.
Gas boiling water does not automatically turn off.
Gas boiling water costs about 0.07 yuan, based on my previous calculation.
I gave up.

Various materials found that gas water heaters have low maintenance costs in the later stages.
Their lifespan is better than electric water heaters.
Instant heating does not require waiting.
The downside is that gas pipeline installation may not be as convenient as electricity.
I recommend prioritizing purchase.
